ELISA Kit Operating Precautions:
- Reagents must be stored as indicated on the label and allowed to reach room temperature before use. Diluted standards should be discarded immediately and not stored.
- Unused microtiter plates should be returned to their sealed bag promptly to prevent degradation.
- Unused reagents should be properly covered or sealed. Do not mix reagents from different batches, and always check the expiration date before use.
- Use disposable tips to avoid cross-contamination. Avoid using pipettes with metal parts when handling stop solution and substrate A/B.
- Prepare wash solution in a clean plastic container. Ensure all reagents and samples are thoroughly mixed before use.
- After washing, pat the microtiter plate dry completely. Do not place absorbent paper directly into the wells to remove moisture.
- Substrate A is volatile, so minimize exposure by keeping the lid closed. Substrate B is light-sensitive and should be protected from light. Avoid contact with skin and handle with care. Read OD values immediately after the experiment is completed.
- Ensure consistency in the order of reagent addition to maintain uniform incubation time across all wells.
- Follow the instructions precisely for incubation time, volume, and sequence of reagent addition.
ELISA Kit Performance:
- Sensitivity: The minimum detectable concentration is lower than that of the first standard. The kit shows good linearity with a correlation coefficient (R) of over 0.990 between sample results and expected concentrations.
