The SNB-1 digital viscometer is a modern instrument designed to measure the viscosity of liquids accurately and efficiently. It operates based on the principle of a rotary viscometer, where a rotor is driven by a motor to rotate at a constant speed within the liquid being tested. As the rotor turns, it experiences a viscous resistance from the liquid, which is directly related to the viscosity of the fluid.

The higher the viscosity, the greater the resistance encountered by the rotor, and vice versa. This resistance is detected by a sensor, which then sends the data to a computer for processing. The final result is displayed on the screen, making the measurement process both precise and user-friendly.

1 ~ 1 × 10⁵ mPa·s

Rotor options include sizes 1–4, with rotor 0 capable of measuring very low viscosity down to 0.1 mPa·s.
