I recently took apart a Sony KLV-32S400A TV that had a flower screen issue, with a white face. According to Baidu, the problem was with the logic board AS15. After a quick test, I touched the AS15 board with my hand and felt it was very hot, which made me conclude that it was likely damaged. A year ago, I bought two of these boards on Taobao, but they were not working. This time, I managed to find one that worked. The original board was AS15-HG, but I used an AS15-HF model instead. The board has a heat sink on the bottom, so I used an air gun and a soldering iron to carefully remove and replace the components. After reassembly, the image on the test machine looked normal. However, some parts still got quite hot, and I noticed a slight temperature change when replacing the chip. I think the issue might be related to the quality of the component. At the time, I only paid 10 yuan for this part, and now it's worth around 4 to 5 dollars. Also, there's a small resistor near the AS15 that isn't functioning properly. I used a small horseshoe-shaped tip to drag the solder, and it worked out fine in the end. Here are some photos from the repair process:
