Stormwind TV recently unveiled its new brand, "Storm AI Screenless TV," and launched the first product in the lineup: the "Storm AI No Screen TV Max6." This innovative device represents a next-generation evolution of projectors, offering a more versatile and advanced experience. While brands like Extreme meters and imea have previously introduced similar concepts, Storm has taken it a step further by integrating artificial intelligence into the mix, enabling users to enjoy a stunning 120-inch screen with ease.
The Storm AI No Screen TV Max6 features a sleek design crafted by the Red Dot Gold team, combining a grid pattern with ivory tones for an elegant look. Inside, it is powered by a 1.8GHz 64-bit processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of flash memory. It also supports dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, and includes phase-change material with liquid cooling for enhanced performance and longevity.
With a light source brightness of 1000 ANSI lumens and a resolution of 1080p, the Max6 utilizes a free-form surface concentration system, achieving a 98% efficiency rate with Swiss filters. The dual-spot-spot imaging system boosts light utilization to 90%, while the convolution operation precision optical shaping system ensures 90% optical uniformity.
The device features a 2.7 square centimeter DMD chip with 2.07 million micromirrors and 5.4 reflective lenses, allowing precise control over pixel brightness and color. It also boasts a spherical surface compact spectroscopic prism with a contrast ratio of 750:1, an optical imaging resolution of 120 lines per mm, and an image distortion rate of less than 1%.
Powered by Germany’s Osram LED light source, the Max6 uses resin material that lasts up to 30,000 hours. It includes a large F1.8 aperture, a 7-layer lanthanide series optical glass lens with a transmission ratio of 1.2:1, and supports vertical and horizontal trapezoidal correction as well as remote autofocus.
In terms of visuals, the Storm Left-eye Engine enhances streaming media quality by over 30%, supported by the sixth-generation picture quality enhancement engine, delivering a cinema-like experience. For audio, it features theater stereo technology 2.0, sealed large cavity inverting tube sound, neodymium iron boron magnetic units, and Texas Instruments amplifier chips. It also supports Dolby and DTS dual decoding, providing immersive sound experiences.
The Storm AI No Screen TV Max6 is the world's first AI-powered screenless TV, featuring Storm AI 2.0, personalized image recognition, natural language interaction, and AI-driven content layout. It supports multi-task processing and continuous learning capabilities.
To strengthen its research and development, Storm has appointed Professor Feng Yan from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology as Chief Scientific Advisor and established a joint laboratory with the university.
