The main reason is that industrial robots have invested too much in research and development, and the cycle is long. According to statistics from the International Robot Federation and the China Robotics Industry Alliance, the sales volume of domestic industrial robots in 2015 was 22,000 units, which accounted for only 33% of the total sales in the Chinese market. In other words, foreign brands are firmly holding about 70% of the market. The CCID Research Institute of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has analyzed that the value share of China's own brand robots is less than 10% in the domestic market.

This dilemma also directly forced domestic industrial robot enterprises to catch up with foreign brand technology, but also to make a breakthrough in further grabbing market share, so that "national goods" robots are more applied to domestic manufacturing workshops.

The strategy of Guangzhou CNC is to set up its own system integration team and face the application enterprise to seek market breakthrough. This year, based on the large-load industrial robots in the past, Guangzhou CNC has developed a small three-kilogram multi-joint robot for the needs of the 3C industry. "This market is in front of us. If domestic industrial robot companies do not follow up in time, they will be occupied by foreign-funded enterprises sooner or later." Song Jian said.

Li Boji said that Guangzhou NC focuses on the ontology and takes into account system integration. It is also intended to avoid leaving the market. In particular, it will enter more market segments in the future, and a certain integration business can better open up the development and production of robots.
