Keysight will demonstrate a variety of solutions at the Mobile World Congress in 2018, including the 5G NR test platform leveraging the company's industry's first commercial 5GNR software solution. These software solutions cover the creation and analysis of downlink and uplink signals for performing base station transmitter/receiver and power amplifier and component testing, while complying with 3GPP Release 15 TS 38 5G specifications and integrating Keysight Technologies A variety of signal generators and signal analyzers (including Keysight's UXA signal analyzer and M9383A PXIe microwave signal generator).
Keysight's 5G NR software solution includes the W1906EP SystemVue 5G baseband verification library to simulate end-to-end 3GPP radio systems with built-in channel models and different phase array structures at the transmitter and receiver ends. The N7631C Signal Studio Pro for 5G NR allows customers to generate 3GPP 5G NR compliant signals to test transmitters and receivers that support channel coding and multiple antenna ports.
In addition, Keysight's 89600 VSA opTIon BHN for 5G NR modulation analysis provides in-depth physical layer testing and troubleshooting of NR base station transmitters and components. The 89600 VSA software can also be used to simultaneously analyze 5G NR and LTE signals for LTE-NR integration and coexistence testing. The N9085EM0E 5G NR X-Series measurement application simplifies complex evaluation with 3GPP-based settings to enable faster verification and manufacture of 5G NR base station transmitters and components.
Keysight will also demonstrate the UE Emulation (UEE) solution, which provides powerful and flexible test functions for base stations including protocol and load testing. The solution leverages the synergy between Keysight's RF and millimeter wave measurement experience with the Ixia UE simulation framework for a wide range of demanding requirements and different 5G configurations. Keysight's UEE solution provides a flexible architecture for all protocol and load testing of 5G NR and LTE.
