PK Sony! Hisense Announces First Picture Quality Chip for Domestic TV

As a traditional three major TV products, the product form has been quite mature. Perhaps the average consumer is more concerned about the value, screen, workmanship, and brand that can be seen, but in fact the mold and technology are often divided, such as image engine, multiplication technology, and so on.

The more famous is Sony. Its self-developed swift processing engine is the representative of ensuring high picture quality and image stability. However, there is a big gap between China's home appliance companies in this respect.

In the first two days, Zhou Sheng, the chairman of Hisense, said in a loud voice that if you don’t have a mobile phone, your mobile phone will always be second-rate.

Just now, Hisense released a self-developed Hi-View Pro chip in Beijing, claiming to be the first image quality engine chip in the Chinese TV industry.

According to the site's data, Hi-View Pro is an all-in-one SoC, ensuring that the dynamic range, dynamic contrast, color gamut, sharpness, and smoothness of motion of the TV picture at 4K 120Hz are better.

Bell, the person in charge of chip R&D, said that the main chip, TCOM chip, and the chip are cooperating with each other, and future chip products will also be applied to medical and virtual reality fields.

At the same time, Hisense said that the 60-inch ULED smart TV equipped with the chip will be officially launched. In addition, an independent subsidiary specialized in research and development of chips will be established to form a closed-loop ecosystem.

According to the data, Hisense once launched the "Sinxin" in 2005, breaking the monopoly of foreign companies on China's color TV industry.
