The chip can realize high-voltage fast charging of 5V/9V/12V, and the maximum charging current reaches 3A, which can meet the user's need for faster and more efficient charging on large-capacity lithium batteries, and is fully compatible with QC1.0/2.0/3.0, Pump Express+, and Specification requirements for USB type-c.
As the capabilities of smartphones continue to increase, battery life has become a major concern for consumers. The HL7016 is the first 12V high-voltage input fully integrated switch mode charger in China, which realizes high input voltage and USB OTG boost mode and I2C interface programmable. The chip has built-in voltage, current, temperature and other detection and protection functions. The voltage and current parameters are set and adjusted through the I2C interface to ensure the safety of lithium battery charging. In addition, the chip also has a built-in battery activation function to solve the system crash caused by battery short circuit. Compared with the traditional charging method, the HL7016 reduces the charging time by more than half.
The HL7016 also integrates the USB OTG 5V boost output function, which enables the battery voltage to rise to 5.0V output and provides a maximum output current of up to 2.1A, making it ideal for applications such as smartphones, tablets and mobile power supplies.
